Innotech-Execaire has selected On-Board Data Systems (OBDS) as its partner for software and services in support of a fleet-wide electronic flight bag (EFB) upgrade the Montreal-based companies announced last month. As part of the agreement OBDS will design software allowing online delivery of electronic chart updates directly to the EFB units in the cockpit. Innotech-Execaire, Canada’s largest charter operator, will use the EFBs–which will interface with a central server library–to store manuals, company memos and program updates. After the agreement was announced at last month’s Canadian Business Aviation Association show in Montreal, OBDS president Tom Murray noted that his company is now doing business with each of the GA firms up and down the flight line at P.E. Trudeau International Airport.
