Rockwell Collins last month said it has received an additional TSO for the Pro Line 21 Integrated Display System (IDS) that allows buyers to installthe retrofit cockpit in aircraft equipped with Collins AP-105 and APS-65 autopilots.

Operators of King Airs, Falcon 20s and 50s and Piaggio 180s fitted with these autopilots can now upgrade to the LCD-based flight deck. To keep the cost of the retrofit down, the upgrade calls for interfacing the modern Collins glass displays with an airplane’s existing air-data sensors, radios, flight-management systems and autopilots.
