Executive Jet Management’s plan to establish a scheduled airline using business jets took a major step forward on August 16 when the DOT approved EJM’s application. The DOT said it finds EJM “fit, willing and able to engagein scheduled passenger service as a commuter air carrier using small aircraft pursuant to Part 135.” Cincinnati-based EJM filed its application with the DOT in May and could begin service connecting Chicago, Los Angeles and New York as early as November.
