NBAA last month announced the release of “The Aircraft Charter Consumer Guide,” a free eight-page publication available in printed form and downloadable as a PDF from the association’s Web site (www.nbaa.org/charter). The guide provides information about finding charter operators and brokers, how to obtain charter safety information from the FAA and pre-screening questions for vetting charter operators. The Web site’s charter page contains a request for proposal to charter operators, links to FAA regions, Flight Standards District Offices and auditing organizations and information about charter regulations and safety, including accident statistics.
