ABACE 2005 has drawn the world’s leading business aircraft manufacturers to its exhibitor roster: Boeing Business Jets, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer, Gulfstream Aerospace, Pilatus and Raytheon. The only notable manufacturers not attending are Airbus, the new breed of very light jet builders and turboprop contenders EADS Socata and Piaggio Aero Industries.
The Shanghai show will also feature major engine and systems suppliers Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Rockwell Collins and Universal Avionics Systems. Also featured on the exhibitor list are leading flight-planning groups Air Routing and Universal Weather & Aviation, as well as maintenance providers Atlantic Turbines, Hawker Pacific and MTU.
ABACE has also attracted the support of some local business aviation service companies, including China Eastern Airlines Executive Air Service; Ground Service Agency of Shanghai Foreign Aviation Service; the Hong Kong Aviation Group (including charter/management operators Metrojet and Heliservices, as well as the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre FBO); and Shanghai Airlines. The main western business aviation group present will be TAG Aviation, but U.S. charter group Prime Jet is also booked. Other exhibitors include AirCare Solutions, Bose, DeCrane Aircraft Seating, Jeppesen Sanderson, S.S. White Technologies and Satcom Direct.
