Air Methods To Buy 10 AStars per Year

EMS operator Air Methods has signed a memorandum of understanding with American Eurocopter to buy 10 AS 350 B2/B3 AStars annually, on an indefinite basis. According to the Denver-based operator, the additional aircraft are needed to meet requirements for single-engine platforms in the medical field. Some will replace older aircraft, which are more expensive to operate.
