Barbados FBO Celebrates Grand Opening

IAM Jet Centre, a new FBO in Barbados, held official grand-opening ceremonies late last month. Completed in December, the 6,000-sq-ft facility offers on-site customs clearance, conference rooms, showers, crew and passenger lounges, Internet access and state-of-the-art security screening. Asked why the company waited six months to have an opening ceremony, operations manager Donna Goddard told AIN, “We wanted to settle in to the new facility for a few months first and our peak winter season activity left us with little room to plan a reception.”
