Feeling Lightheaded? Here’s One Cure

FlightSafety International is introducing a hypoxia awareness course at its learning centers. The course,developed in cooperation with the Mayo Clinic, will use special equipment designed to allow students to experience a gradual loss of oxygen up to a simulated altitude of 22,000 feet “without the need for hypobaric chambers.” The course also includes sessions on physiological aspects, FARs and advisory circulars on high-altitude operations.
