The Swiss Federal Office for Civil Aviation has approved Jet Aviation Basel as a POA (production organization approval) approved facility in accordance with the EASA’s 21 Subpart G regulations. This approval allows the company to produce and issue airworthiness declarations for replacements parts.

Parts that have been previously designed, engineered, manufactured and installed by Jet Aviation Basel for completion projects under an STC can now also be supplied as replacement parts to customers with an EASA Form 1 certificate issued by the facility.

“The POA approval was a necessity for Jet Aviation Basel to serve our customers better. We are now able to send owners and operators requested replacement parts so they do not need to fly their aircraft to our facility,” said Rainer Albecker, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Basel.
