Rectrix Aerodrome Centers has begun construction of a new FBO/hangar facility at Florida’s Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The Rectrix center, due to make its grand opening next fall (the phased opening will begin this winter), will be the company’s second FBO and the site of new “Hangarminiums,” private hangars with services provided by Rectrix personnel. The Sarasota FBO will be located on 20 acres and include 180,000 sq ft of hangar, office and terminal facilities. Rectrix is seeking additional underserved locations to build more of its private hangar and FBO operations.
