Kerry Trosper was named general manager for Landmark Aviation’s Wichita Falls, Texas FBO. He was most recently line service manager at Kerrville Aviation in Kerrville, Texas. James Wilson was named general manager of the Dulles, Va. location. He was previously sales manager for Landmark Aviation’s charter and management business.

David Jackson was named president and CEO of King Schools. Jackson joined King Schools in 1997 and has been responsible for the company’s daily operations.

Jeffery Houk has been promoted to manager of FlightSafety International’s Cessna Aircraft Maintenance Learning Center in Wichita. A FlightSafety employee since 1993, Houk was most recently training and communications manager for FlightSafety courseware support. He succeeds John Hansen, who is retiring.

Corona, Calif.-based Circor Aerospace Products named Anish Patel v-p of business development and strategy. He previously held sales and leadership roles with Honeywell and Eaton Aerospace.

Satoshi Yokota has been named executive v-p of technology development and advanced design at Embraer. He was previously v-p of engineering and development. The company also named Emilio Matsuo senior v-p of engineering. Matsuo was development director engineer. Mauro Kern was named senior v-p for the airline market. He was previously v-p for airline market programs.

Cessna named John Newton v-p of used aircraft. He was previously senior v-p at Textron Financial Aviation Finance.

Dominique Malleville was named v-p of industry and aerostructures for EADS Socata.

Flight Options named Philip LaVelle v-p of sales and marketing. He was previously senior v-p of sales and marketing for Wayne-Dalton, a manufacturer of residential and commercial overhead doors.

Andrew Shankland was promoted to senior v-p of sales and marketing for Airbus North America. He was previously v-p of sales.

Christine Blair joined the staff of Business Aircraft Leasing as a market researcher. She was previously an aircraft researcher with Jetnet in Utica, N.Y.

Lauren Jarmoszko joined AirCare Solutions Group as instructor and manager of the new Facts northeast training center in Morristown, N.J. She was most recently supervisor of cabin safety and services for AT&T Aviation.

David Hurley began his chairmanship of the National Air and Space Museum board of directors last month. Hurley is vice chairman of PrivatAir. He founded Flight Services Group in 1984 and was named CEO of PrivatAir when it acquired Flight Services Group in 2000.

Retired astronaut Robert “Hoot” Gibson joined Benson Space Company as COO and chief test pilot. Gibson is leading the new personal spaceflight venture, recently established by Jim Benson, which seeks to provide the first, safest and lowest-cost astronaut-making spaceflights for the emerging space tourism market.

Shelley Hedrick joined Million Air Dallas as director of charter sales and marketing. She was most recently director of operations for Perfect Jet Travel.

Faisal Alam was named head of maintenance and fleet development for Bexair in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Brett Forrester was promoted to sales manager for Lake Zurich, Ill.-based General Aviation Services.

Lufthansa Technik named Bernhard Conrad chief technology officer and Dr. Hans Schmitz senior v-p of VIP and executive jet solutions. Conrad, who has been with the company since 1985, will continue to serve as senior v-p for design, organization and innovation. Conrad has held various senior positions with Lufthansa Technik’s maintenance division. Schmitz joined the company as a consultant in corporate development in 1981. He has since held various senior positions within Lufthansa German Airlines and the Amadeus global travel distribution system. He was most recently general manager of Ameco Beijing, the joint venture of Air China and Lufthansa.

Thrane & Thrane named Andy Beers channel sales manager and Megan Robertson sales account executive. Beers was previously v-p for sales and marketing for Rosen Aviation. Robertson was previously a flight analyst for Arinc Direct.

Brian Jones has joined the aircraft sales team of Million Air Salt Lake City. He previously owned, operated and managed aircraft sales for B.R. Jones and Associates.

Edwin Black was named director of marketing and sales for Waco, Texas-based Black Hawk Modifications. He was previously director of marketing and sales for Raisbeck Engineering.

Louisville, Ky.-based named Angie Cox airport resource center coordinator. She was previously a corporate aircraft dispatcher for Bombardier Flexjet and Gulfstream.
