Executive Jet Management (EJM) announced changes to its management team with three personnel movements. Kaj Wren was hired for the new position of director of charter vendor standards. He was formerly chief pilot for three aviation companies. Ben Murray was promoted to national v-p of charter sales and John Nelson was promoted to v-p of business systems. Murray was previously EJM’s regional v-p of charter services.
Raytheon Aircraft Services made four personnel appointments to bolster its customer support and sales teams. Allan Kramer was named general manager at the company’s Van Nuys, Calif., facility. He was most recently regional general manager for Mercury Air Centers. Dennis Murphy is the new manager of supply chain/logistics for Raytheon Aircraft Services, based in Wichita at the Raytheon Aircraft Customer Support office. Robert MacKenzie is the new regional sales manager for Raytheon Aircraft Services’ San Antonio facility. Bill Ladigo joined the RAS Sales Support Center as avionics sales manager. He was most recently avionics sales manager for Piedmont-Hawthorne Aviation.
Julie Goodridge has been promoted to assistant manager of FlightSafety International’s West Palm Beach Learning Center. She will hold that post while assistant manager Rick Bedard is on military duty overseas. Goodridge had been the product marketing manager at FlightSafety’s Wilmington, Del., center.
Rick Brainard was promoted to v-p of sales and marketing for McKinney, Texas-based McKinney Aerospace. He was director of aviation sales.
Seattle-based aircraft leasing company AWAS named Carter White to the new position of v-p of portfolio management.
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) promoted Eric Byer to v-p of government and industry affairs and Amy Koranda to director of safety management. Byer had been director of government and industry affairs. Koranda was formerly manager of education and training. Also at NATA, Jacqueline Rosser has been appointed senior manager for regulatory affairs. She was manager of flight operations.
Jim AuBuchon was named director of Pratt & Whitney programs for International Turbine Services, a division of Dallas Airmotive. He was previously director of the regional aircraft product group for AAR.
David Pearman is the new general manager for General Dynamics Aviation Services’ Las Vegas Service Center. He was most recently the senior operations manager at the company’s Westfield, Mass., service center. At Gulfstream Aerospace, a General Dynamics company, Frank DeFelice was promoted to general manager of the Gulfstream Service Center located at London Luton Airport. He was most recently manager of service center scheduling at the Gulfstream Service Center in Savannah, Ga.
Gordon Berturelli is responsible for international business development for Multi Service. Berturelli, who previously worked for Esso in Europe and North America and Air Routing International, is a director of the Canadian Business Aviation Association.
PrivatAir added five new charter sales representatives to its staff. Loryn Cook, Debi Higgins and Zach Zola were named inside sales representatives. Maureen Jewell and Jeffrey Triana were named outside sales representatives.
Lauran Weiner is the new marketing manager of Waterford, Mich.-based Pentastar Aviation. Weiner joined the company from Olympia Entertainment, a promoter of sporting events, concerts and Broadway shows.
John Goglia, who was a member of the NTSB for nearly 10 years, has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University as a professor of aviation science at the university’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology. Goglia is also working with the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) as senior v-p of government and technical programs. He is spearheading PAMA’s efforts to increase the public’s recognition and respect for individual aviation maintenance technicians.
Flight Options named Cameron Gowans chief marketing officer. Gowans, who was most recently was v-p of sales and marketing for Delta AirElite Business Jets, also held positions with Canadair, Gulfstream Aerospace, Innotech-Execaire and Avolar.
Phoenix, Ariz.-based Regional Aviation Partners hired Todd Jorns as its new associate director of legislative affairs. Jorns previously served as the legislative liaison for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
Greenwich, Conn.-based CitationShares named the following new regional sales managers: Jay Heublein, Midwest; Nick Kaufman, Southwest; and Heather Muir, entertainment industry. She joined the company from Endeavor, a Hollywood, Calif.-based talent agency.
Manassas, Va.-based Chantilly Air, an aircraft charter and management service, named Reed Basley director of maintenance and Gillian Steimke a client services specialist. Basley previously was director of maintenance at Flight Options. Steimke was most recently a customer care manager with Bombardier Skyjet.
Nick Cain is the new chief pilot for Boise, Idaho-based Chelton Flight Systems. Cain, who has worked at the company for three years, most recently was the Western U.S. regional sales manager. His responsibilities include pilot training and demo flights.
James McIntyre has joined the board of directors of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame. McIntyre is president of Romeo Oscar, a Montreal-based aerospace marketing and advertising company.
