Air Chef Changes Rewards Recipe

Air Chef, with its network of caterers now serving more than 80 airports nationwide, has dropped its in-house rewards program in favor of an agreement with Sperry & Hutchinson’s Aviation Points Exchange (Apex) program. “Our program was geared exclusively toward the corporation and included only a handful of reward-redemption partners,” explained Air Chef CEO Scott Liston. “The Apex program is for individuals or corporations and the number of products and services is enormous.” Individuals or corporations have the option of redeeming points for Air Chef certificates and services or for Apex-associates brand-name products, from motorcycles to recreational vehicles. Air Chef is currently offering holders of its Concierge Club rewards points the option of converting those points to Apex points at a 50:1 ratio or retaining them for Air Chef products and services.
