Looking for a limo service? Savoya, a Dallas-based “single-point contact for chauffeured services worldwide,” doubled its revenues last year. According to president and CEO Robert Dobrient, “We expect to triple the 2003 revenues this year.” The company was launched in 1999 and has chauffeured-services affiliates in 550 cities worldwide. These affiliates, said Dobrient, are required to meet certain standards, from driver background checks and drug-testing policies to standard operating procedures and insurance. Dobrient said the company receives about 40 percent of its bookings via its Web site (www.savoya.com) but added that many of its clients still prefer to deal with Savoya by telephone or in person.
