Audio Int’l To Distribute Avtec LED and Fiber Optics

In May, Audio International, a DeCrane Aircraft company, and Avtec reached an agreement that allows Audio International to distribute Avtec’s cabin-lighting products in conjunction with Audio International’s in-flight entertainment and cabin-management systems. “This long-term affiliation strengthens the market reach for both companies,” said Avtec marketing manager Nate Breindel. North Little Rock, Ark.-based Audio International, which provides aircraft interior components, offers a broad range of audio- and video- entertainment equipment, as well as cabin environmental controls. Avtec, based in Cahokia, Ill., transitioned into a dedicated lighting manufacturer with fiber-optic lighting and later diversified to include LED lighting.
