Aviall expands L.A. customer service

Aviall Services opened a new Los Angeles customer-service center at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). The facility, which services parts buyers in Southern California and product repair customers in the Western U.S., is a response to Aviall’s sales increases over the last three years and anticipated growth.

The new facility will increase the company’s previous total square footage by more than 60 percent. The building has 24-foot minimum clearance ceilings and increased capability for hazardous materials storage. It will also contain expanded product repair facilities for the Aviall battery shop; hose shop; and wheel and brake shop. Aviall is a provider of aftermarket supply-chain management services for the aerospace, defense and marine industries.
