Concerned about continuing international shipping delays because of post-9/11 U.S. Customs regulations, Raytheon is opening a spare parts center in Li├Ęge, Belgium. The 147,000-sq-ft, fully automated facility will match its current Dallas/Fort Worth spares depot capability. The European facility initially will be stocked with $10 million worth of inventory in support of all Raytheon models, including out-of-production types.
