Raisbeck Engineering has entered an agreement with Atlantic Aero authorizing the Greensboro, N.C. company to promote, purchase and install Raisbeck’s STC kits.

Atlantic Aero has just completed its first installation of the Raisbeck ZR Lite drag-reduction system on a Learjet 31. The modification, designed for the Learjet 31, 35 and 36, includes changes to the flaps to reduce drag at high-speed cruise. According to Raisbeck, related benefits include increased initial cruise altitude, higher cruise speeds, extended range and reductions in block fuel burn.

Atlantic Aero has also received authorization from Pratt & Whitney Canada to perform the mandatory 300-hour recurring IBR inspections on PW305A engines installed on the Learjet 60. Atlantic Aero has completed factory-authorized training, acquired the necessary tooling and has the necessary NDT capability.
