Esco EMAS installations growing

Aircraft arresting system manufacturer Esco has completed its first Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) installations outside the U.S., at China’s Jiuzhai-Huanglong Airport in Sichuan Province. International installations are accelerating, with EMAS bed installations under way at Spain’s Madrid-Barajas International Airport. Fourteen new
EMAS beds are under way at airports throughout the U.S., and the total now stands at 26 systems at 20 airports.
