FlightSafety International will double the size of its Gulfstream aircraft maintenance training facility in Savannah, Ga., with a 20,000-sq-ft expansion of the existing facility.
The center offers a wide variety of maintenance training courses taught by instructors from both companies. More than 2,000 technicians received training at the Savannah center last year. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by next year’s second quarter. When it is finished, the facility will have the capacity to train more than 5,000 technicians per year.
