Dart Helicopter Services received Transport Canada approval for its Apical Industries emergency float system for Robinson R44s and R44 IIs. The system received FAA approval last April. EASA approval is pending. The system consists of two cylindrical forward floats and two cylindrical aft floats mounted on skid tubes, with a mechanically activated inflation system. The floats are made from a urethane-coated nylon fabric and fitted with inlet check and manual pressure relief valves. Maintenance requirements consist of an 18-month inspection/leak test and a three-year inspection and inflation test. The floats do not have an age limitation and are replaceable on condition.

Could you send me an estimate of the feasability and pricing for pop out floats for our Dynali H2S light helicopters? You will see the general specification on our web site www.dynali.com and I will be glad to provide any further information that you may require.
