Jean-Paul Herteman has been named chairman and CEO of the Safran supervisory board. He succeeds Jean-Paul Béchat, whose term expired on September 2. In addition, Jean-Paul Ebanga is replacing Michel Dechelotte as chairman and CEO of PowerJet, a subsidiary of Safran’s Snecma.
NetJets has appointed Benjamin Murray president and CEO of its wholly owned subsidiary Executive Jet Management. He was most recently vice president for new business development for NetJets sales. He replaces Al Pod.
John Wolf has been named chairman of Adam Aircraft. He most recently served as COO of Fairchild Dornier in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
Elliott Aviation has named U.S. Air Force veteran Mick Harrison president and COO. He most recently served as general manager of the Bombardier Wichita service center. Wynn Elliott will remain chairman and CEO.
Munich-based MTU Aero Engines Holding has named Egon Behle CEO, effective the beginning of next year. He previously served as CEO for ZF Lenksysteme in Schwäbisch Gmünd. He succeeds Udo Stark, whose term expires at year-end.
United Arab Emirates-based Royal Jet has appointed Shane O’Hare president and CEO and Andrew Bray vice president of operations.
Marc Viggiano has been named chief strategy officer of Sensis. Antonio Lo Brutto will now lead the company’s air traffic system division.
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has appointed Lindsey McFarren director of the recently established Air Charter Safety Foundation. In her previous capacity as NATA’s manager of regulatory affairs, McFarren was responsible for charter and flight training issues.
Mark Weir, a 20-year Boeing veteran, has joined Sabreliner as senior director of its Ste. Genevieve, Mo. operation.
Gulfstream Aerospace has announced the following appointments: Tray Crow, director of completion design; Bill Williams, v-p of product support materials; and Laurence Hanson, engineering authorized representative administrator for the Gulfstream designated certification office.
Portland, Maine-based Maine Aviation has announced the promotion of Ryan Clyde to director of operations.
The Northrop Grumman board of directors has elected Mark Rabinowitz as corporate vice president and treasurer, succeeding James Sanford, who will retire at the end of the year. Rabinowitz previously served as vice president and assistant treasurer.
