Preliminary Report: Citation hits deer on takeoff

Cessna Citation 650, Benton Harbor, Mich., Aug. 31, 2007–The Citation III hit a deer during its takeoff roll from Southwest Michigan Regional Airport at Benton Harbor and taxied back to the hangar. The two crewmembers and two passengers were not injured in the incident. The extent of the damage to the aircraft–registered to Maytag of Newton, Iowa–was unknown.
