In March Gulfstream launched a program in which it pledged to match competitors’ parts prices for large-cabin Gulfstreams. The “Meet the Quote” program, originally scheduled to end May 15, has been extended to the end of July and expanded to include parts for the G100 and G200. If it costs less than Gulfstream’s price for the same part in “comparable condition, age and warranty,” Gulfstream will match price. Separately, the company said it has “significantly reduced” prices (the cuts ranging from 33 percent to 48 percent) on “wear and tear” and electrical parts, such as filters, lamps, light bulbs, seals and gaskets, and other consumables, for the entire line of Gulfstream jets.
