Citation CJ2 Approved for London City Approaches

Cessna’s Citation CJ2 has been approved by the U.S. and Germany for steep approaches, such as that required to use London City Airport. Other European countries are expected to follow with the same approval. Currently, six Citation models have such U.S. approvals. Several requirements dictate an approach angle of 5.5 degrees at London City Airport, and crews must also be endorsed by the UK and the airport authority to conduct the steep approach.
