Sabreliner Corp. and Midcoast Aviation each have been recognized by Honeywell as top-performing service centers, earning Honeywell’s prestigious Staar (service target authorization and approval rating) award. “All of us at Sabreliner and Midcoast are proud to be recognized for providing a level of service excellence that surpasses even Honeywell’s stringent requirements,” said Ron Herman, vice president of operations for Sabreliner.
Sabreliner was recognized largely in conjunction with the company’s Honeywell TFE731 repair facilities at its Perry-ville (Missouri) Municipal Airport operations center. Midcoast earned the award for its engine line services and auxiliary power unit work at the company’s St. Louis Downtown Airport headquarters in Cahokia, Ill.
Last year fewer than one in three service centers earned the award, which requires the service center to meet standards in 13 areas including customer satisfaction and use of advanced diagnostic tools.
