Exhibit space for Aircraft Interiors Expo 2008, held in Hamburg, Germany, “has virtually sold out,” according to event organizer Reed Exhibitions. A total of 560 exhibitors attended last year’s show and more than 11,700 visitors from 75 countries passed through the gates. While the primary focus of the show is commercial aviation, business aviation vendors account for large numbers of exhibitors. Signed up for this year’s event are Aircraft Cabin Systems, B/E Aerospace, CTT Systems, E-A-R Specialty Composites, Townsend Leather, Kvand cabin completions, Lufthansa Technik, Nordam and Rockwell Collins. Concurrent with the interiors show, for the second year, is the Crystal Cabin Awards, which recognize innovation in comfort and health, entertainment and communication, environmental, future concepts and industrial design, technical components and safety and security.
