Batty Is New BAUA Chief

John Batty, the recently retired chief pilot of Motorola’s European flight department, this month becomes the new chief executive of the UK’s Business Aircraft Users Association (BAUA). He is replacing Derek Leggett, who is retiring.

The BAUA will now be run from a new office at the London- area Farnborough Airport, having previously been headquartered at Leggett’s home in Scot- land. While running Motorola’s Farnborough-based flight department, Batty also served as BAUA’s chairman.
