FBO chain Atlantic has moved into its newest FBO, a $13.6 million facility built on a 13-acre ramp at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The lobby is surrounded by a two-story glass-fronted atrium topped with a soaring wing-like roof. Amenities include a huge pilots’ lounge with rocking sleeper chairs, a café, private parking for sports teams and large aircraft charters and a conference room featuring a Smart Board interactive whiteboard. Atlantic LAX will have U.S. Customs personnel on site beginning next month. At California’s Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA), Atlantic has moved into an expanded FBO terminal and has space available in its 50,000-sq-ft hangar. Atlantic also completed the acquisition of Rifle Air at Garfield County Regional Airport in Rifle, Colo.Ñ
