Jet Source adds Pratt & Whitney service center in San Diego

Customers in Southern California now have another option for their Pratt & Whitney Canada overhaul and repair services. Carlsbad, Calif.-based Jet Source, based at McClellan-Palomar Airport, is now able to service and supply components for engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada.

From specialized repair plans to minimal aircraft downtime, Jet Source will provide full engine service and support. Established in 1997, Jet Source has more than 120,000 sq ft of hangar space and an FBO with an executive terminal; it provides maintenance, avionics, ramp service, fuel sales, aircraft charter, management and aircraft sales/acquisition.

The company is also slated to open a new facility in Henderson, Nev., next year. It will consist of two 35,000-sq-ft hangars and an executive terminal.
