The FAA awarded certification to the King Air C90GTi on January 28, and Hawker Beechcraft has begun deliveries, so it’s time to remove the turboprop twin from the In The Works list. Replacing the C90GT, the GTi adds Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line 21 avionics suite, making the airplane the smallest player in the Hawker Beechcraft turbine lineup consistent with the Pro Line 21-equipped King Air B200GT and 350, Premier IA and Hawker 750 and 900XP. The C90GTi also has new engines, the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-135A.
