The twin-engine military-style ATG Javelin might yet survive. According to a statement from the ATG board of directors early last month, the company “has continued to engage in negotiations with its strategic partner and various financial institutions. These discussions include developing alternatives to continue operations in the short term as well as long-term options.” The board has renegotiated credit and teaming agreements and is working on selling the entire company or a majority portion. Best and final offer bids were expected around the end of last month, the statement said, and “at that point, the board will review all bids and negotiate with interested parties.” The Javelin program never made it beyond flight of a prototype.
