Gulfstream Aerospace has added the Jet Aviation maintenance center at Moscow Vnukovo as a Gulfstream authorized warranty line service facility for the full line of Gulfstreams. The airframer has also announced the appointment of a new field service representative in Moscow who will provide immediate customer support and service to in-country and in-transit Gulfstreams.

Bombardier Aerospace has also approved the Jet Aviation facility as its first line maintenance facility in Russia. The company will offer around-the-clock AOG service for Challengers and Globals.

Jet Aviation says it is the first global independent business aviation services company to operate in Russia. Vnukovo International Airport is located about 17 miles from the city center and is Moscow’s busiest airport for corporate aviation, handling nearly 70 percent of all business aviation traffic in Russia. Last year Vnukovo reported a 50-percent increase in corporate and private aircraft traffic over the previous year.
