Gulfstream maintains deliveries, but sales slip

Deliveries of new Gulfstream IV-SPs and GVs in the first half of this year kept pace with the same period last year, although sales volume for the second quarter was down compared with the year-ago period, according to the Savannah, Ga.-based manufacturer. The company said it delivered 19 GIV-SPs in the first half, the same as in the corresponding period last year. The 16 GVs delivered in the first six months fell just short of the 17 shipped in the first six months of last year. Gulfstream attributes the lower sales figures in the first half to “an exceptional volume of pre-owned aircraft sales.”
