Rotorcraft Update: Extex reveals extension plan

PMA parts maker Extex is finding current business so good it has embarked on an ambitious new expansion program. Newly appointed personnel include a broader marketing team anchored by industry veteran Dave Daniels from Honeywell, where he held key positions in marketing and product support. As vice president of sales and marketing, Daniels also joins division newcomers Claudia Becker, Dwayne Brittingham and Mike McNabb. Before joining Extex, Becker and McNabb both held marketing positions with MD Helicopter. Extex has also launched a program enabling helicopter operators to buy C47 turbine engine replacement parts directly from Extex at a 30-percent discount this year. The company recently revealed plans to move to a new 11,000-sq-ft facility near its present site in Mesa, Ariz.
