Piaggio Aero has appointed Jet Aviation Dusseldorf an authorized service center for the Avanti/Avanti II turboprop twin. The facility has been performing Avanti/Avanti II maintenance work for more than a decade.

The authorization allows the MRO to perform maintenance services on Avanti/Avanti IIs up to and including D-check inspections. Jet Aviation’s personnel will attend recurrent annual training courses in Genoa. The company offers complete maintenance, repair and overhaul, avionics, refurbishment, FBO and 24-hour AOG services. It holds EASA DE.145.0011 repair station approval. It is also an authorized service center for Beech King Airs and the Premier I, the Hawker 800/800XP, the Cessna Citation series and the Embraer Legacy 600.
