Nextant Aerospace last month expanded the available options for its Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Beechjet 400A/XP cockpit retrofit program. According to the Ohio company, the list of options for the upgrade package includes a second multifunction display, XM weather receiver, integrated flight information system and turbulence-detection weather radar. Until December 31, Nextant is offering the second MFD option at a 50-percent discount for the Pro Line 21 retrofit and for its Nextant 400NXT engine/avionics upgrade.

The engine refit replaces the Beechjet’s Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15Ds with Williams FJ44-3APs. For those who already own a Beechjet or Hawker 400XP, the basic avionics and engines upgrade is being offered as a $2.4 million modification program. The Beechjet/Hawker 400XP Pro Line 21 cockpit retrofit without options costs $390,000 including installation.
