More Customers Sue Eclipse for Refund

Two more lawsuits were filed against Eclipse Aviation in September, bringing to four the total number of complaints about nonrefunding of purchase deposits. Geiger Excavating and Ice Blue Air filed the first two lawsuits, and Loeb Holding and Mayer Capital Holdings filed the most recent suits. One of the recent lawsuit filers told AIN that in a September conference call, Eclipse said it is planning to pay refunds within 10 days of receiving a new round of financing, which is now expected by the end of this month. During the call, Eclipse also said that the last airplane it will deliver this year is number 267.
