Australia’s SkyAirWorld has agreed to help the government of East Timor to establish a new national carrier called Timor Air with an Embraer E190. The new airline plans to launch operations next month from the East Timorese capital Dili and fly direct to Darwin, Australia and Bali. Under the terms of the agreement, SkyAirWorld will provide management support and begin training cabin crew and other employees this month. The Australian airline will base the 94-seat, dual-class-configured airplane in Darwin.
