The asset management team of BAE Systems Regional Aircraft placed 75 aircraft last year through new leases, extensions and sales, the company reported in late January. The company added nine new names to its BAe 146 operator base as it closed 41 separate transactions involving its Avro RJ/BAe 146 quad-jets. Meanwhile, its Jetstream portfolio contained not a single idle airplane during the year and the company said it expects limited availability in the future. It added 17 aircraft to its “rate per flight hour” support programs and customers extended contracts on 50 more aircraft.
