Airmark International, an independent Learjet parts distributor, has teamed with aviation services provider Sabreliner to install Airmark-provided GKN Aerospace windshields in Learjet 24/24D/25/28/29/35/36s.
“We’ve been providing Learjet operators with a windshield option for a long time, but our partnership with Sabreliner will make it more convenient for them to get complete installation services at their own facility,” said Rocky Cole, president and CEO of Airmark International. “Better yet, Sabreliner also provides comprehensive Learjet maintenance, modification and engine services that can be performed in conjunction with windshield installation at its Perryville, Mo. location.”
Airmark stocks factory-new GKN Aerospace windshields that come with
a five-year warranty against defects, said Cole, compared with the one-year warranty offered by other replacement windshield providers. Installation time is three-and-a-half days for single windshield replacement or five days for double replacement, including installation, polishing, pressurization and paint touch-up. In addition, Missouri does not charge Learjet operators sales tax on materials, replacement parts and equipment used in the repair of their aircraft at Sabreliner.
