Berlin Airports has selected ExecuJet Europe to be the official operator of the new general aviation terminal at Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport. The facility was handed
over to ExecuJet on January 15. ExecuJet, which won a Europe-wide tender to manage the terminal on behalf of the airport company, will be responsible for all business aviation movements at Schoenefeld, although other handling agents can provide service there. In fall 2008, ExecuJet opened a new two-floor, 4,300-sq-ft FBO in the terminal and provides handling services, including fueling and parking. Separately, on January 11, Evo Jet Services started offering full-service handling at Schoenefeld, complementing its operation at the German capital’s Tegel Airport. Evo offers discounts on fuel, hotels and ground transportation, in addition to arranging catering and helping with tax-exemption paperwork.
