Hot section: Flight safety and Wayfarer establish savings program

Under an agreement reached between Wayfarer Aviation and FlightSafety International, maintenance crew training will be discounted off FlightSafety’s
list price. Thomas Mealie, v-p of maintenance and general manager of operations, told AIN, “Discounts will be applied to all aircraft regardless of type,” but he declined to reveal the scale of the discount. Wayfarer, based in Weymouth, Mass., is an aircraft management firm overseeing a fleet that includes Gulfstreams, Global Express, Falcons, Challengers, Learjets, Hawker Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft based in and outside the U.S.
