Hawker Beechcraft revamped its global sales management team with the appointment of six new vice presidents. On the Hawker side of the company, Jim Christiansen, most recently president of NetJets Aviation, was chosen as v-p of sales for the central U.S. Noell Michaels, previously the Midwest sales director at Gulfstream, was assigned to the eastern U.S., while David Coppock, also a former sales director at Gulfstream, was tapped to head the company’s bizjet sales in the western U.S. To lead its Latin American sales efforts, the company selected John Meehan, most recently the general manager for Landmark Aviation Dulles. The Wichita-based airframer also promoted company veteran Don Mercer from v-p of Beechcraft pre-owned aircraft to v-p of Beechcraft sales for the eastern U.S., and hired Shane Ellis, formerly Piaggio America’s western U.S. and Mexico and pre-owned sales director, to lead its turboprop sales in the western U.S.
