Phenom Fly-in Draws Owners and Operators

About 30 people attended an Embraer Phenom owners and operators fly-in that was held in Naples, Fla., in late March. Representatives from Embraer and Garmin led a technical and operational seminar; CAE held an international operations discussion; and Luis Antonio Colarino, Embraer senior manager of executive jets customer support, presented an update on the Phenom 100 fleet, outstanding technical issues and optional avionics upgrades. Technical issues discussed at the meeting centered mainly on flap and brake issues (see article on this page), while the optional synthetic-vision system for the Phenom’s Garmin Prodigy weighed heavily during the avionics discussion.
