Work on Gulfstream’s midsize jets played a major role in keeping 2009 income levels up for Switzerland’s Altenrhein Aviation. The Pilatus Aircraft-owned company also supports the PC-12 and Porter turboprop singles as well as the TBM 700/850 series, Citations and Caravans, the DHC-6 Twin Otter and the Beech 1900. Altenrhein’s 50,000-sq-ft facility can accommodate five Gulfstreams. The MRO is also an authorized service center for Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, as well as for Honeywell engines and avionics, and Rockwell Collins cockpit systems.
