On the opening day of Ebace 2010, EBAA and NBAA delivered 2010 European Business Aviation Awards to Elie Zelouf, senior vice president of Jet Aviation, and officials at Aéroports de Paris. According to NBAA, “This year’s award recipients have both demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to advancing the business aviation industry. Elie Zelouf, a part of Jet Aviation from its earliest days, was instrumental in developing the company’s Basel facility, helping to pioneer the early days of business aviation in Europe. Officials from Aéroports de Paris [Le Bourget Airport], the first dedicated business aviation airfield in Europe, have continuously promoted the value of business aviation and recently extended that commitment by unanimously voting to launch a 20-year, ?170 [$216] million airport modernization program.”
