The annual Special Olympics USA National Games are substantially supported by volunteer Cessna Citation operators who transport the athletes, and Cessna Aircraft dedicates a mobile service unit (MSU) to assist them. Citation owners were slated to donate their aircraft, pilots and fuel to transport about 800 athletes and coaches from across the nation for the competition in Lincoln, Neb., held July 17 through 24.

“With so many Citations converging on Lincoln, Cessna wanted to make absolutely certain that our customers receive expedited customer service during the event,” said Stan Younger, Cessna’s vice president of service facilities. “We assigned one of the seven Cessna mobile service units to Lincoln Municipal Airport as a Citation is scheduled to touch down every two minutes over a 10-hour period,” he said.
