Preliminary Report: Taxiing trouble sinks seaplane

Cessna 208 Caravan, Little Peconic Bay, N.Y., June 17, 2010–The float-equipped Caravan was taxiing in rough water and high winds after landing when it struck rocks, puncturing one of the pontoons and causing the turboprop single to capsize. The three passengers and pilot escaped the aircraft unharmed and made their way to shore.
