Touching Bases: Million Air opens in Moses Lake

Million Air’s newest franchised FBO, Million Air Moses Lake, Wash., celebrated its grand opening on July 10. More than 200 current and potential customers toured the new FBO, which includes a remodeled 4,700-sq-ft main terminal and lobby, theater room, corporate lounge and the Jet-a-way Café. Million Air Moses Lake is part of the Freeman Holdings network, which owns six Million Air FBOs, including bases in Alexandria, La., and Oneida, N.Y. Freeman specializes in handling large military aircraft at many of its locations, and at Moses Lake recent customers include Boeing’s flight-test 787 and 747-8F. Moses Lake’s longest runway is 13,500 feet. The new FBO’s location in Washington, said Freeman Holdings CEO Scott Freeman, “gives us a presence where we were currently not represented, and its long runways, extensive ramp area and hydrant jet refueling system are ideal for the large military and commercial aircraft that we have the experience of servicing.
